River Support

River (provisional name) is an iPhone app for learning No-Limit Texas Hold'em poker, published by ILYGO Sàrl.

Account

Do I need to create an account?

No. An anonymous account is created automatically at first launch with an Internet connection. Without a network, the app works fully and creates the account later.

How do I get my progress back on another iPhone?

In Settings, choose "Save my progress" to link your account to your Apple ID (Sign in with Apple). On the new iPhone, sign in with the same Apple ID: your progress, your decision index, your reviews and your Premium access are restored.

My Apple ID is already linked to another River account

The app offers to merge the two accounts. The merge only takes place after your explicit confirmation; the progress of both accounts is then combined.

What happens if I sign out?

After confirmation, signing out erases River's data on this iPhone. If your account is linked to your Apple ID, your progress remains saved: sign in again to get it back.

I haven't used River for a long time

An anonymous account (not linked to an Apple ID) with no activity for 13 months is deleted from the server. If River is still installed on your iPhone, the app creates a new account and sends it the progress stored on the device. An account linked to your Apple ID is not affected.

Synchronisation

Does River work without a connection?

Yes. Lessons, exercises, the table, reviews and the daily puzzle work offline. A connection is only needed to create or link an account, make a purchase, restore your purchases, see puzzle statistics and receive content updates.

How do I know whether my progress is synchronised?

Settings shows the synchronisation status: up to date, pending or error. Your progress is first saved on the iPhone, then sent as soon as the network allows, without loss or duplication.

Check your connection: River retries automatically. If the error persists, contact support and include your support identifier.

Subscription

What does Premium include?

Premium unlocks, in particular, levels 2 and 3, free play and the "What if?" mode without a daily limit, detailed analysis of your decisions, all reviews and the toughest table. Details are presented in the app before any purchase.

Is there a free trial?

A 7-day free trial may be offered, subject to Apple's eligibility rules. Unless cancelled within the period set by Apple, the subscription becomes paid at the end of the trial.

How do I view, manage or cancel my subscription?

In Settings → Subscription, the app shows the status of your subscription (trial, active, ends on…, expired, grace period). "Manage Subscription" opens Apple's subscription management, where you can switch plans or cancel. You can also go through your Apple account settings on the iPhone.

Deleting the app or your River account does not cancel the subscription.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple under its terms: send your request to Apple.

Restore purchases

My Premium access does not appear

In Settings → Subscription, or on the offer screen, choose "Restore Purchases". Use the same Apple ID as for the purchase and check your connection.

Delete my account

In Settings, choose "Delete my account and data", then confirm. This is also possible with an anonymous account.

• Your account data is deleted from the server and from the iPhone; the app then returns to the state of a new installation.
• Offline, the deletion is queued and sent as soon as the network is back.
• Deletion does not cancel your Apple subscription: the deletion screen offers a link to manage it.
• Some data remains temporarily (audit log, backups): see the privacy policy.

Language

River is available in French, English and German. The app follows your iPhone's language; for any other language, it is displayed in English. You can change the language in Settings → Language.

Privacy

How do I turn usage analytics on or off?

In Settings → Privacy. Once analytics are turned off, no further events are sent and those waiting to be sent are deleted from the iPhone.

How do I get a copy of my data?

Write to support (address to be determined), stating your support identifier. ILYGO replies within 30 days and provides your data in JSON format.

Gambling and responsible gaming

Can you play for money in River?

No. River is a learning app: no real stakes, fictitious chips that cannot be bought, and nothing to win.
